Intro to Maya!!

Hi!
   Well I'm back (within 15 min of the last post!). This image is from my intro to 3D class where I am learning Maya! Woot! There are a few issues with composition and lighting but overall I am pleased with it (especially considering I had never touched the program before).

Drawing for Animation!

Hey guys!
   So this semseter I was lucky enough to get into the drawing for animation class offered at the Y. The teacher (Joe Olson) is really amazing and I am learning a ton! Here are the first few assignments we have done.

   This is the first assignment we did. The prompt was dangerous hoofed-animal headed creature.....Not to proud of it but oh well, it will show you how much better I have gotten!

 This next prompt was a designer toy (they are really simplified strange themed toys, you should google for them) with the theme of monster under the bed. And then we were asked to revisit the design two weeks later. I think it improved a ton!

Back From The Beyond

Hey guys!
I know that I haven't posted in a while so here we go. SKETCHBOOK DUMP!!!

These first ones are of my Aunt Betsy's dog Lucky who I saw over Christmas break.
Cute!

 In the same sitting I also caught my dad snoozing!

 When I came back on campus I realized that there a sleeping people all over the place, so I thought why not do 100 sleeping people? I have 6 or 7 so far here are a few more.

 And last but not least an interesting character from the sartorialist.

More GD stuff!

Hey guys!
Here is some more stuff from my graphic design 210 class. This first thing was our first assignment in illustratior. We were supposed to use our name to show our illustrator skills. I had none so I did this. It ended up looking like a logo. I would never use it for anything but I still kinda dig it.

The rest of these are for our most recent assignment. We were supposed to design a non functioning web page to test out our web/photoshop skills. I could not for the life of me figure out what I wanted to do and then I remembered the name thing so I did these. The first one is the main page and then the others are the rollover states so you can navigate to other pages.

So funnily enough I am bloging while in class. My teacher (*cough* brent *cough*) informed me that you have no idea what my website is for. I agree. I should probably fix that.
